Congratulations to Ursula Hyde who raised over £600 at a coffee morning for CMCs earthquake relief work in Nepal.  Also a big thank you to all of you who donated to the fund.

The team from CMC comprising of trauma surgeons, Orthopaedic and facio-maxillary surgeons and anaesthesiologist went to help at the EHA Hospital at Raxaul, Bihar, just near the Nepal border.

Duncan Hospital is the largest hospital of EHA (Emmanuel Hospital Association) and has 229 beds.  It is the only secondary referral hospital run by the voluntary sector for 3 districts in North Bihar and Southern Nepal. It is located in the North West of Bihar on the border with Nepal.

The CMC field team helped with the rescue work and brought patients for surgery to the hospital
