The Rev. Alex Peter, Chaplain & Administrative Head of the Fellowship Department has sent these prayer requests for March. We hope you will find them helpful when remembering the colleges, students, hospital and patients in your prayers.
1. Musicals “Lion King” planned on March 17-19th March2016
Please pray for the success of the musical The Lion King when the students of all five colleges will combine to raise money to pay for treatment for poor patients. Pray the students will overcome their stage fright to give their very best performances, and the audience will be happy to donate generously to such a good cause
2. Post-Graduation students of the Medical College writing their exams
Pray for the Post Graduation students as they will take their written exams. Pray that they will be able to concentrate and remember what they have learnt, also that they will be at peace about it.
3. Founder’s Day service & Alumni get together planned on March 23rd
Pray for all the arrangements for the annual celebration of Founder’s Day and the Alumni get-together. Pray for those conducting the services and those attending, that Edith Brown’s motto “My work is for a King” will be meaningful in their lives.
4. Passion Week services
Pray for the services during Passion Week, both in the Chapels and on the wards, remembering the reason for Christ’s death on the cross, and the wonder and joy of His resurrection, the first service of the day being the early morning Sonrise Service.
