Gift Aid – your donation can be enhanced: for every pound you give, the Inland Revenue will add an extra 25 pence. This means that £10 can be turned into £12.50, as long as your donations are made under Gift Aid. Imagine the difference that could make, and it doesn’t cost you a thing. So if you want your donation to go further, Gift Aid it (PDF file – 36 KB).
(To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount we will claim in the tax year). Donations through organisations such as Charities Aid Foundation or by other tax efficient methods, for example Payroll Giving, are also welcome.
