New Paediatric Ventilator

Our Chairman [Dr Keith Hine] and his wife were visiting CMC in March 2018 and attended a dedication service for a new ventilator to be used on the Paediatric Surgery ward.  The previous machine was quite old and had failed.  The cost of the equipment was approximately £18,000 and the majority of the money had been raised by the Beacon Parish in East Sussex, UK.   Additional funding had been provided from the anaesthetic and general funds of Friends of Ludhiana.  The photograph shows the first child to be successfully treated on the new ventilator.
