Some of the poor patients you help with your donations are not in the hospital.
The Home Healthcare Department at CMC Ludhiana, inaugurated in May 2022, provides comprehensive and compassionate medical services directly in patients’ homes. The department is staffed with 5 permanent nurses, 3 Home Health Aides on a one-year contract, and 5 to 7 ad-hoc staff. Offering nursing care, chronic disease management, and specialised procedures, the department has significantly improved patient well-being and reduced hospitalisations. The average daily service means eight to ten patients benefit each day. Palliative care is offered as an inpatient and at home.
Future plans include expanding staff to meet growing demand. The department remains committed to delivering high-quality care and enhancing patient quality of life, as well as relationship building within the community.
